Will Grier commits to Gators

High school standout quarterback Will Grier, who threw for a national record 10 touchdown passes and 834 yards in a game last month, took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to announce that he has committed to the University of Florida to play for the Gators after he graduates in 2014.

That game in which he threw for 10 touchdown passes for his school, Davidson (N.C.) Day School, ended in a win for Grier with an incredible score of 104-80 over Harrells (N.C.) Christian Academy. His father, the coach, said he had never seen anything like it and probably will never see that kind of performance again in his lifetime:

"I don't know what to say, It was crazy. I don't think I'll ever live to see something like that happen again. It was just nuts."

Grier, who currently stands 6'3" and weighs 171 pounds as a high school junior, has scholarship offers from Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and Wake Forest, among other schools. He tweeted a picture of himself in a Gators jersey on Twitter on Thursday, writing, "committed."
