Report: Chip Kelly to meet with Cleveland Browns on Friday

Oregon head coach Chip Kelly will meet with Cleveland Browns execs on Friday. Cleveland fired head coach Pat Shurmur after he posted a 9-23 record over two seasons with the team.

Kelly met with Tampa Bay last year and came close to making the jump to the NFL. ESPN reports that Browns CEO Joe Banner is in Arizona and intends to interview Kelly on Friday. But first, Kelly has to focus on  Thursday's Fiesta Bowl.

"I don't expect anything," he said. "I said this a million times. I'm never surprised by anything. I do not know what the future holds. I do know we have a football game tomorrow night and I'm going to be there."
