Spurs forward Tim Duncan is aiming for a Saturday return, reports NBC Sports and the team's official website.

He could have probably gone Wednesday night… but the Spurs were playing the Bobcats. And the Spurs are a cautious bunch with their stars. But Tim Duncan said he will return to the lineup for the Spurs Saturday when the Wizards come to town.

Duncan has missed the team's last four games with a sore knee. The team was 4-0 during that time period. They'll take on the Wizards in San Antonio on Saturday. The Wizards (11-33) have the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference, while the Spurs (37-11) are no. 1 in the West and on a nine-game winning streak. Duncan, a 15-year veteran, is averaging 17.5 points, 2.7 blocks and 9.8 rebounds per game this season.
