The New York Jets will not release Tim Tebow outright and will instead seek a trade partner for the quarterback, according to a report from Adam Schefter at ESPN.

This, despite reports that few if any teams in the league are interested in taking on the former NCAA national champion. In Schefter's report, one NFL general manager is quoted as saying that "I think his career is over without playing another position." Tebow featured in just a handful of offensive plays for the Jets this season after being traded from the Denver Broncos.
