Kentucky freshman forward Nerlens Noel was injured during Tuesday night's 69-52 loss to seventh-ranked Florida and had to be carried off the court by his teammates.

Noel went down with about eight minutes left in the second half after he went for a block and appeared to injure his left knee after hitting the basket support. He could be heard screaming in pain for several seconds and remained on the court before being helped off the court.

Kentucky released a statement saying that Noel underwent tests at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. after the game and will return to Lexington with the team. No word was released on the severity of Noel's injury.
