The Kansas City Chiefs and free-agent cornerback Dunta Robinson have come to terms on a three-year agreement, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The former Atlanta Falcon played all 16 games last season, picking up 67 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one interception.

Robinson joins a Chiefs secondary that ranked last in interceptions last season while allowing 356.5 yards-per-game through the air on defense. The Chiefs finished the 2012 season with a 2-14 record. This offseason, the Chiefs hired Andy Reid to be their head coach and acquired QB Alex Smith from San Francisco.

The eight-year pro was drafted by the Houston Texans in 2004 before joining the Falcons in 2010.

Robinson was one of three players cut by the Atlanta Falcons last week to free up salary cap space.
