Willie Colon has signed a one-year, $1.2 million deal with the New York Jets. Colon was released by the Steelers earlier this week to clear $5.5 million in Pittsburgh's cap space.

The seven-year vet has experience at both guard and tackle, and should make a nice addition to the Jets, provided his chronically injured knees hold up.  Colon has had three consecutive seasons end because of his knees; his 2012 season ended with a knee injury that required surgery to repair.
