Anthony Davis, 49ers agree to 5-year, $37.3 million extension

Right tackle Anthony Davis has agreed to a five-year extension as first reported by Pro Football Talk. His new contract will run through 2019.

USA Today reports the contract is worth $37.3 million with $17 million guaranteed.

Davis has started every game of his NFL career since being selected 11th overall in the 2010 draft. The 49ers' offensive line of Davis, left tackle Joe Staley, guards Alex Boone and Mike Iupati, and center Jonathan Goodwin is considered among the NFL's best units. The 49ers' ranked fourth in the league in rushing last season.
