Chiefs GM: Team has fielded calls for No. 1 pick

Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey says the organization has fielded phone calls from teams willing to trade up to the No. 1 spot, reports NFL.com.

The Chiefs own the top pick in the NFL Draft, which starts tomorrow night. Dorsey did not say which teams have inquired about the pick.

The team is also trying to decide what to do with left tackle Branden Albert.  Dorsey confirmed that the Miami Dolphins and the Chiefs are stalled on a deal because they are trying to work out compensation.

More from NFL.com:

The guess here is that teams in search of an elite offensive tackle such as the Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers have called to get a better idea of the Chiefs' asking price. Dorsey obviously hasn't received an offer to his liking. It's a long shot that he will get one that entices him to pull the trigger by Thursday evening. It's expected that the Chiefs will keep the pick and choose either Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel or Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher.
