Report: Free-agent John Abraham not retiring despite tweets

Free-agent defensive end and four-time Pro Bowler John Abraham is not ready to conclude a 13-year NFL career, despite two cryptic tweets he sent on Saturday suggesting otherwise.

NFL.com reports that Abraham is frustrated with the free-agent process because he hasn't landed a job. Abraham had 10 sacks and six forced fumbles for the Atlanta Falcons last season and has 122 career sacks. The Falcons released Abraham on March 1 after seven seasons.

More from NFL.com:

Abraham, who turns 35 on Monday, still could bring value to a team that seeks a situational pass rusher. He just might have to swallow his pride in matters of perceived fiscal worth. Then again, it's not like Abraham hasn't garnered any interest.

The Atlanta Falcons have moved on, but he already has visited the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. Rapoport reported Thursday that theTennessee Titans also were scheduled to host him.
