New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez has sold his Miami Beach mansion for $30 million, according to A-Rod's business partner Jose More. The sale of Rodriguez's home is one of the highest ever in Miami-Dade County and will earn the veteran third baseman close to $15 million in profits on the home.

More said Rodriguez decided to sell his waterfront mansion because the buyer, who More wouldn't name, "made A-Rod an offer he couldn't refuse." More added A-Rod was actively searching for a new home with more privacy. Rodriguez purchased the 54,000-square-feet waterfront home for $7.4 million in 2010 and used his own construction company, Newport Property Construction, to make $7.6 million worth of renovations to the property.

The 37-year-old Rodriguez is currently rehabbing from surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left hip.
