Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen was fined $5,000 by the NBA for flopping in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.

Late in the fourth quarter, San Antonio was leading 85-81 with under 30 seconds remaining. Spurs guard Manu Ginobili was double-teamed by Zach Randolph and Allen, and lost the ball to Randolph, who threw it to Allen for a sure breakaway lay up.

Ginobili caught up with Allen and grabbed his arm to prevent the layup. Ginobili was called for a flagrant foul on the play. What Allen did could be constituted as a great acting job as he rolled around on the floor in pain.
