Bills coach on EJ Manuel: Ahead of any rookie QB I’ve seen

Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone spent seven seasons as an assistant with New York Jets and New Orleans Saints before leaving to coach Syracuse.

Marrone was hired by the Bills in January, but as far as he is concerned rookie quarterback EJ Manuel is the best rookie he has ever seen.

"From my standpoint ... EJ Manuel has done better (as a rookie) than any of the other organizations I've been a part of," Marrone said.

Marrone also said that his rookies are performing "better than expected."
