Days after selling Neymar to Barcelona, the club announced that it is letting go of coach Muricy Ramalho.

In 150 matches during a two-plus year stint with Santos, Ramalho went 72-42-36. The club won six titles, including three in the Sao Paulo state championship, under Ramalho.

Santos said Friday that it decided to make the changes to put the team back on track after "one of the most successful periods in the history of the club."
Ramalho joined Santos in April 2011. The 57-year-old coach has won four Brazilian league titles during his coaching career. The club has yet to name a replacement.
