The New England Patriots' offseason has been quite busy and they finally have some news that doesn't involve Tim Tebow or Aaron Hernandez.
The team unveiled a new logo Wednesday, one with big, blocky blue letters that replaces the white, cursive script of the old one. The "Flying Elvis" emblem also changed, going from the top of the "P" on the old logo to under the "RI" on the new logo. According to NFL.com, the logo change won’t be seen on the team’s helmet.
The Patriots are just continuing a theme that has been prevalent this offseason. The Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, and San Diego Chargers have each changed a part of their logo or jersey since last season ended.
