Legendary Lakers coach Phil Jackson offered his take on Dwight Howard bolting Los Angeles for the Houston Rockets with a pair of tweets on Sunday.

Jackson, who Howard reportedly asked the Lakers to hire early in the 2012-13 season, said the center "left a distaste in Lakerland" with his departure after just one disappointing season.

He also poked fun at Howard's choice of Houston as his free-agent destination, writing that he is "better of [sic] an Astro." The Houston Astros have been MLB's worst team over the past two years, going 55-107 last season and 32-56 thus far in 2013.
