Adam Morrison will return to Gonzaga to be an assistant coach, according to TheScore.com.
Morrison was the National Player of the Year for the Zags before being drafted third overall by Charlotte in 2006.
Never finding a role in the NBA, Morrison played just four seasons, although he was on the 2009 and 2010 Lakers championship teams. He also made several stops in Europe playing professionally.
Now 29 years old, Morrison is reportedly completing his degree at Gonzaga, allowing him to be a student assistant with the team.
