Steelers WR Plaxico Burress tears rotator cuff, may be out for the season

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Plaxico Burress was carted off the practice field Thursday afternoon and returned with his right arm in a sling, per Dale Lolley of the Observer-Reporter.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported later Thursday night Burress had torn his rotator cuff and could be finished for the season.
The Steelers open the preseason Saturday night against the Giants.
