A woman who says she is the former mistress of New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman filed a petition saying that Cashman told her he intentionally misled federal investigators during the Roger Clemens investigation, reports USA Today.

Louise Neathway also says that Cashman knew of clubhouse steroid use by various Yankees players and was ambivalent to the use of performance enhancing drugs as long as nothing came back to the Yankees organization.

The petition also states Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez's new attorney, Joseph Tacopina, has a conflict of interest in Rodriguez's case because his partner, Stephen Turano, represents Neathway in New Jersey and knows of information from Neathway's relationship with Cashman that could bolster Rodriguez's case against the Yankees.
