Another arrest warrant issued for Titus Young

A California judge issued an arrest warrant Tuesday after former Detroit Lions receiver Titus Young missed a court hearing, according to the Associated Press.
Young has failed to appear at several court hearings regarding an 11-count criminal case since being cut by the Lions and the Rams in February. The Lions released Young, in part, for conduct detrimental to the team including punching a teammate and intentionally lining up incorrectly during a game.
When Young did not appear Tuesday, Orange County Superior Court Judge Andrew Manssourian issued the $100,000 bench warrant and revoked Young's bail.

Young's attorney, Altus Hudson, said the court knows of Young's whereabouts and he doesn't expect his client to be arrested. He said the judge issued the warrant in order to keep tabs on Young, who Hudson said was in treatment for an undisclosed condition.
Young, a second-round pick by the Lions in 2011, has pleaded not guilty to four felonies and seven misdemeanors after being arrested outside a home in San Clemente in May. Those incidents followed his arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence, and another arrest 15 hours later after authorities said he was caught trying to retrieve his car from a tow yard in a Los Angeles suburb. He was charged with misdemeanor trespassing in that matter and the case is pending.
Young's ex-girlfriend also has filed a restraining order against him, preventing him from seeing her and their child.
