The Miami Heat are considering bringing back free-agent forward Michael Beasley, according to Yahoo! reporter Adrian Wojnarowski. The Heat selected Beasley with the second overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.

According to Wojnarowski, several Heat veterans are lobbying for management to bring Beasley back to Miami. No offer has been made to Beasley and no deal is impending.

Beasley, 24, reached a "termination agreement" with the Phoenix Suns with two years left on his contract. Beasley was charged with marijuana possession in August which marks the second time Beasley has been arrested for marijuana charges during his tenure with Phoenix.

Beasley averaged 14.1 points-per-game during his two-year stint with the Heat in less than 30 minutes-per-game. He averaged a career-high 19.2 points with the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2010-11 season.
