The Denver Broncos signed starting center Manny Ramirez to a two-year contract extension through 2015, the team announced Wednesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Ramirez, 30, started 11 games at right guard last season when starter Chris Kuper was hurt. He was promoted to the starting center position this season after Dan Koppen tore the ACL in his left knee during training camp.

KING: Manning in Full

Ramirez has started 27 of 36 regular-season games played with Denver and the Detroit Lions over the past seven seasons.  He played in a career-high 15 games last season.
