Roma captain Francesco Totti has reportedly agreed to a two-year contract extension with AS Roma.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports Totti, 36, is expected to sign a new deal worth 3.2 million euros ($4.2 million) per season later this month. He is playing in his 22nd season with Roma.

The deal also reportedly will insert Totti into a managerial role within the club upon his retirement. His 227 goals rank second on the all-time Serie A list behind Silvio Piola's  274.
