Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles is very optimistic about his status for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Charles, who left Week 1 with a bruised thigh, claimed he is "ready-to-play percent" when asked how close he is to being 100 percent. Charles went through full practice on Friday and is listed as probable against the Cowboys. Before exiting in the third quarter against the Jaguars on Sunday, Charles rushed 16 times for 77 yards and a touchdown while hauling in three passes for 23 yards. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said he thought Charles will "be OK for the game," and said Charles will be taking it slow during practice this week.
