The New York Giants are in a heap of trouble, especially if they have aspirations for a playoff berth.

The team is 0-3 and was routed by the Carolina Panthers 38-0 on Sunday.

Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks seemed to be frustrated with his lack of production throughout the game.  He did not catch a pass and was only targeted once, well after the game was out of hand.

"It’s part of the game," he said to the Star-Ledger. "You’ve got to control what you can control. I can’t throw it to myself."

Hicks said he is doing everything he can to get open. He has nine catches for 197 yards and no touchdowns through the team's first three games.

"As I’m running routes, I can’t see what’s going on with the line," he said. "I’ve just got to look at the film to see that, so we’ll know tomorrow."
