Green Bay WR Randall Cobb has been placed on the injured reserve with designation to return, meaning he must be out for eight games, reports USA TODAY.
Cobb fractured his right fibula on a hit from Ravens safety Matt Elam in the Packers' 19-17 win over the Ravens on Sunday and was expected to miss 6-8 weeks. The IR/designated to return tag means that he will have to be sidelined for eight weeks before he can return to game action and six weeks before he can practice with the team.

Cobb had 29 catches and two touchdowns through five games in his third year with the Packers. He will be eligible to play again Week 15 at Dallas.
