The Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles will miss the rest of the season with an Achilles injury, according to ProFootballTalk.
Broyles suffered the injury while fair catching a punt in the teams 31-30 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Broyles' final season at Oklahoma and his rookie year in the NFL both ended prematurely with ACL injuries.

The Lions are now thin at receiver beyond All-Pro Calvin Johnson and third-year wide out Kris Durham. The team lost Nate Burleson to a broken arm earlier this season. The Lions could still acquire help at the position via trade before the deadline on Tuesday.
