The New York Giants placed running back David Wilson on the season-ending injured reserve, the team announced Thursday.

The Giants activated running back Andre Brown, which forced the team to make changes to its 53-man roster.

MURTHA: Incognito and Martin: An Insider’s Story Brown has been out since the preseason, when he suffered a broken leg. Wilson was unlikely to play on Sunday. The 22-year-old, a first-round draft pick by the Giants in 2012, had been on the sidelines since injuring his neck in a loss to the Eagles on Oct. 6 and has not been cleared to return.
