UCLA's Myles Jack wins Pac-12 Freshman Offensive and Defensive Player of Year

UCLA freshman Myles Jack accomplished something very rare Monday.

Jack won the Pac-12 Conference's award for Freshman Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, the conference announced.

Jack, who was also named a second-team all-conference selection on defense, only ran the ball 37 times this season for 269 yards, averaging over seven yards an attempt. He also scored seven touchdowns.

On defense, he was tied for fifth on the team with 70 total tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss. He also had two fumble recoveries and one interception for the Bruins.
