Concussion forces Victor Cruz to leave game
New York Giants' wide receiver Victor Cruz left the team's game against the Seattle Seahawks with a concussion and a sprained knee, according to Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.
Cruz was upended while leaping for a ball in the third quarter and landed on his head. The former Pro-Bowler had to be helped off the field by the Giants' medical staff, and did not return to the game.
The Giants trailed the Seahawks 16-0 at the time of the injury, and would go on to lose 23-0 with QB Eli Manning throwing 5 interceptions.
