Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said Monday that he hasn't talked to anyone about any other job despite his name being brought up about the now vacant University of Texas job.

He called the numerous reports linking his name to the job as "just speculation."

"I really don't know," Kelly said, via ESPN.com's Phil Sheridan. "I haven't talked to anybody. It's just speculation. I haven't spoken to anybody."

Kelly said he understood why reporters needed to do their job and ask the question about the Texas job. Kelly left Oregon about four seasons last year to take the job with Philadelphia.

The Eagles are 8-6 and in first place in the NFC East, one game ahead of the Dallas Cowboys.

"I'm not involved in any jobs. I'm the coach of the Philadelphia Eagles," Kelly said. "I'm going to prepare for the Bears and prepare for the Cowboys after that. Hopefully we have an opportunity to go to the playoffs and I'm going to be here for a while."
