Penn State quarterback prospect Michael O'Connor has delayed his plans to enroll in State College on Jan. 13 and is likely re-opening his recruitment, according to NJ.com.

O'Connor, a 6-foot-6 prospect from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., could be rethinking his Penn State commitment after Bill O'Brien left to become head coach of the Houston Texans.

Todderick Hunt of NJ.com cites O'Connor's mentor, Victor Tedondo, as indicating Rutgers, Michigan State and UCLA are interested in the pro-style quarterback.
