Tuesday's game between the Buffalo Sabres and the Carolina Hurricanes has been postponed because of severe winter weather in the area.

No makeup date has been announced.

According to the Sabres, the last time the team had a game postponed was March 1, 1994 at Quebec. The last home game the Sabres cancelled was March 14, 1993.  That game was made up the next day.
