The NFL released on Tuesday a photo of some of the tickets for Super Bowl XLVIII to be held on Feb. 2.
The Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos will play at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. next month, the first time the event will be held in an open-air stadium in a cold-weather city. The front of the ticket shows the Vince Lombardi trophy, which goes to the winner, and the background shows the iconic Empire State Building and Jersey City.
Ticket sales are expected to make the game the most expensive NFL event in league history. As of Jan. 20, the average price for a seat is a whopping $3,721, according to a report from JD Malone of The Morning Call, citing information from ticket resale service SeatGeek.
