Ole Miss defensive back Bobby Hill was arrested Tuesday on allegations of sexual assault brought against him by an unidentified female, according to WTVA in Mississippi. Hill, 19, was taken into custody by the Oxford Police Department and held on a $10,000 bond.

Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze acknowledged the arrest in a statement, telling reporters that Hill has been "indefinitely suspended' as authorities investigate the case, according to SEC blog SaturdayDownSouth.com:

"We are aware of the situation and recognize the proper authorities are responsible for the matter. Bobby has been indefinitely suspended from all football activities while the process moves forward. We take this very seriously and will make decisions once the course of action is complete."

Hill has played on mostly special teams this past season, recording one tackle for the Rebels. He was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2013. The team finished the season 8-5.
