San Diego Padres outfielder Cameron Maybin will miss up to three months after an MRI showed a ruptured left biceps tendon, according to MLB.com.

Maybin injured his left shoulder and biceps tendon Sunday while making a diving catch in an exhibition Cactus League game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Maybin, 26, played in only 14 games last season, totaling one home run and five RBIs, after suffering wrist and knee injuries.
