Former Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson isn't going to be coaching a team any time soon, but the 11-time NBA title winning coach had plenty to say now that he isn't roaming the sidelines.

Jackson recently sat down with Sam Amick of USA Today for a wide-ranging interview in which Jackson touched on many topic including the Lakers, why there isn't basketball in Seattle and how his health is doing these days.

Jackson jokingly had some ideas about who could coach the Lakers, who are tied for last in the Western Conference with a 20-39 record this season.

"I haven't chosen to bite on that. I've just let that go," he said. "I'm real comfortable with it. I don't have any trouble. I think Jesus could probably coach this team pretty well, but outside of him maybe Mohammed, maybe Gandhi, someone like that.
Jackson said that he isn't bitter about the way the team went about hiring Mike D'Antoni after Mike Brown was fired just five games into the 2012-13 season.
