Free agent offensive lineman Branden Albert is expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins on Monday, according to reports in The Miami Herald and Pro Football Talk.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported that "all signs" point to Albert signing with the Dolphins early on Monday, soon after the free-agent market officially opens.

The Dolphins unsuccessfully tried to swing a trade for Albert before last year's NFL draft, and according to the Herald, they had made him their top free-agent target this offseason. With the Dolphins, Albert would be the cornerstone left tackle the Dolphins need in their effort to overhaul an offensive line that allowed a franchise-record 58 sacks last season.
