Canucks center Ryan Kesler out 'a couple of weeks' with knee injury
Kesler was injured in the second period of the Canucks 3-2 shootout win over the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday after a knee-on-knee collision with Jets forward Jim Slater.
"Nothing we can do about that. Upside is that it gives others an opportunity," Tortorella said, via NHL.com.
Kesler leads the team in goals with 22, and has 40 points in 67 games this season.
The Canucks are four points behind the Dallas Stars for the last wild-card berth in the Western Conference and are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games.
