Mariners designated hitter Corey Hart suffered what's being diagnosed as a strained hamstring and will be evaluated by the team's medical staff on Monday, according to a tweet from Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune.

The 32-year-old two-time All-Star suffered the injury while stealing second base in the fourth inning of Sunday's afternoon win in Minnesota against the Twins. Stefen Romero replaced him, after Hart removed himself from the game without waiting for a trainer.

Hart's injury comes not too long after he was diagnosed with a strained right forearm during spring training. On the season, he's batting .210 with five home runs and 17 RBI in 138 plate appearances.
