Veteran NBA coach Mike Dunleavy met with Knicks President Phil Jackson on Friday to discuss the Knicks head coaching position, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.

Dunleavy, 60, last worked in the NBA as head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers from 2003-10. While he is not believed to be a top choice for Jackson, he is among those being considered as the replacement for Mike Woodson, who parted ways with the Knicks after another disappointing season in which they failed to make the playoffs.

Dunleavy, who coached four teams over his 17 year career, is also reportedly a candidate for the Lakers coaching job, according to Broussard.
