San Antonio Spurs stars Tim Duncan and Tony Parker defended LeBron James on Friday for sitting out Game 1's final minutes with cramps, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida SunSentinel.

Parker talked about the difficulty of James sitting out during a Finals game, which the Spurs point guard did in Game 6 of last years championship series, saying "It's hard, it's very hard. And I'm sure LeBron was thinking the same thing."

Duncan told reporters "There's no shaking it off. Your body is shutting down and you're unable to move."

Parker added that he is looking forward to playing Game 2 in ideal conditions, so the two teams can be at their best.

"I want to see the A/C come back. I want to play the real Miami Heat."
