Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers could emerge as a potential investor in the Milwaukee Bucks, according to a report on Saturday from Don Walker of the Journal-Sentinel.

Rodgers , 30, would become the latest part of the new group to take over the team since billionaire hedge fund managers Mark Lasry and Wes Edens purchased the team for $550 million deal in April from longtime owner Herb Kohl. As Walker points out, Minnesota Wild minority investor Craig Leipold could also become a potential investor in the Bucks, as could a handful of other business magnates including Mark Attanasio, principal owner of the Brewers.

The former Super Bowl MVP is the latest name to surface in a report of intersport investments. Earlier this week, it was reported that Boston Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs is considering a move by his ownership family to build the Buffalo Bills a new stadium in order to keep the team in the region despite the franchise possibly relocating now that its owner died and investors could be looking to relocate the organization.
