Oklahoma may get its guy after all.

Two years after losing out to Missouri on top-prospect wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, Jason Kersey of The Oklahoman reported on Wednesday that the Sooners have "marginal interest" in adding the young man two months after he was dismissed by Tigers coach Gary Pinkel after two marijuana-related arrests and charges of forcing himself into the apartment of an 18-year-old woman and assaulting her.

As Kersey points out, the move could make sense because 1) the coaching staff is familiar with him and his possible issues after spending much time recruiting him, 2) the Sooners need wide receivers, and 3) his upside is too good to pass up; as a 21-year-old sophomore last season, he caught 59 passes for 883 yards and 12 touchdowns. In two seasons with the Tigers, he has 87 catches, 1,278 yards and 17 touchdowns.

In late May, the former No. 1 overall recruit, was rumored to be contemplating sitting out for all of next season.
