The Houston Dynamo have added Canadian international Andrew Hainault to their roster. The defender comes from Czech club FK SIAD Most, but has also played for Sparta Prague during his four years of play overseas.

"We're very pleased to officially have Andrew joining the team," Dynamo COO Chris Canetti said in a statement released Tuesday. "He's a promising young defender with international experience who will add depth to our back line and hopefully make an immediate impact."

Hainault has been training with Houston since February, and agreed terms back in March, but only this week disentangled himself completely from SIAD Most, and his international transfer certificate arrived Tuesday.

The 22-year-old has 14 caps and one goal with the Canadian national team, and takes up an international roster spot.
