U.S. high school star Mendiola to sign with Man City

U.S. Soccer Development Academy's Player of the Year in the U-15/16 division, Raul Mendiola, is on the verge of moving abroad to England.

Mendiola told TopDrawerSoccer.com on Tuesday that he will be traveling to meet with Manchester City this weekend with a view to signing a contract with the Premier League club.

Mendiola is from San Bernardino, and plays for Alta Loma's Arsenal FC youth club team. The diminuitive playmaker is considered the top prospect among the U.S. boys club player rankings in the U-17 category.
