MANCHESTER, England (AP) -- Carlos Tevez could be back in action for Manchester City in as little as two weeks.

City manager Roberto Mancini says he has accepted Tevez's apology for the forward's conduct since refusing to warm up during September's Champions League match against Bayern Munich, Mancini says he is prepared to restore the Argentine to his team.

Mancini says "he maybe needs two or three weeks to find good form and after, if he is OK, he will play."

Mancini says he will meet Thursday with the 28-year-old, who has recently returned from an unauthorized three-month break in South America.
