2014s making news in girls' commitments

Today's update features the arrival of recent commitments from 2014 girls. Clearly looking ahead, these standouts have made early choices about their college destination - and they're far from alone. Rachel Bingham (Sparta United) verbally committed to a BYU program that is already putting together quite the 2014 class. Bingham will join her Sparta United teammates Madison Lyons and Elisabeth Phillips who have also given the Cougars the nod.

It's no surprise that the allure of UCLA would compel a player to commit well before they're required, and that's the case with West Coast FC's Chloe Hemingway who gave her verbal to the Bruins. Hemingway is a regular call-in to U.S. Youth National Teams and a gifted defender who had her share of interested programs.

In other big commitment news, Eclipse Select standout Kara Morway decided to stay in state as she verbally committed to Illinois State for the 2013 season. Morway is ranked No. 84 in the Top 100 and has benefited from the intense training program of her club. A star defender, she is an id2 Training Camp player and an interesting prospect moving forward.
