Iker Casillas was cleared to play after missing two months with a broken hand.

Real Madrid assistant coach Aitor Karanka says goalkeeper Iker Casillas will be included in the squad for the team's Spanish league match against Levante on Saturday.

Karanka says Casillas "is ready to rejoin the team and will be selected.''

Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said last weekend that Diego Lopez would remain his starter, with Casillas returning as a backup.

Casillas hasn't played since breaking his left hand on Jan. 24. Despite being cleared by team doctors, he was left off the squad for Madrid's last two games.

Madrid trails Barcelona by 13 points in the Spanish league and visits Galatasaray on Tuesday with a 3-0 lead in the Champions League quarterfinals.
