Houston Dynamo defender Corey Ashe has been added to the roster for a U.S. training camp before its exhibition against Belgium.

The call-up Thursday is the first to the full men's national team for Ashe, a former Under-17 co-captain. Training camp opens Sunday in Cleveland, and Ashe will be eligible to play in the May 29 game against Belgium there.

The Americans also have an exhibition against Germany on June 2 before resuming World Cup qualifying. But U.S. Soccer said Ashe would return to the Dynamo in time for its June 1 game in Columbus, Ohio.

The addition of Ashe brings the number of players invited to training camp to 31.
